Dr. Phil Bondurant, Health Director for Summit County, as well as Derek Moss, Nursing Director, will be featured at the latest Salon Series event hosted by the Pro-Active Alliance.They will address questions and concerns regarding changes to federal vaccine tables, Covid and flu boosters, and health information at this small group discussion on October 9th. The Summit County Health Department will also be offering boosters for both flu and Covid at this event.
The Salon will be held in a private home in the Pinebrook neighborhood on October 9, 2025, 5:30-7:30pm. Space is limited, and anyone interested in attending must send an email to tennhafer@yahoo.com to reserve a spot and obtain location details. Refreshments will be provided.
Pro-Active Alliance leader Susan Odell shares that “We are excited to hear from local experts about how to stay healthy this winter, particularly in light of the conflicting vaccine information that we have been hearing at the national level.”
The Salon is one of many hosted by the Pro-Active Alliance, a grassroots community of women in the greater Wasatch Back who are informed, inspired, and motivated to take action and effect positive change. By means of events, educational workshops, and opportunities for conversation, the Alliance aims to empower its members and channel their collective energy to organizations, causes, and actions where they can make a difference.
