The Elks Hoop Shoot is a national free-throw contest that has been unleashing gritty kids for more than 50 years. Here’s what every Hoop Shoot Director needs to know.
The Hoop Shoot gives every boy and girl between 8 and 13 in an Elks Lodge community the opportunity to participate in a fun, age-appropriate program that prepares them for future success.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
• Youth ages 8-13 advance through local contests (starting with preliminary contests or a Lodge contest), Districts, States, and Regionals to the National
Finals in Chicago.
• Six National Champions will have their names and photos displayed at theNaismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Basin Rec Fieldhouse Saturday, Nov. 22nd
Who Can Participate:
All Summit County 8-13 year olds 8 and 9 year olds: 2:00 to 3:00 pm
10 and 11 year olds: 3:00 to 4:00 pm
12 and 13 year olds: 4:00 to 5:00 pm
How it Works:
Each Participant gets 5 warm-up shots, followed by 25 free throws. Highest score wins!
