17th Annual Gingerbread Jimmi House Building Competition

It’s the season for homemade gingerbread creations! Join the Park City Library for the 17th Annual Gingerbread Jimmi House Building Competition. This celebration is based off of the book Gingerbread Jimmi: Magical Storybook by John Robert Holbrook, who is a Park City local.
Bring your gingerbread house to the library Community Room on Monday, December 8, at 6 p.m. Judging will take place from 6:15 p.m.-6:45 p.m. Gingerbread Housebuilders will be asked to talk about their creation, as well as answer a few questions by our judges. There will be a reading of Gingerbread Jimmi: Magical Storybook with accompanying songs.
Prizes will be awarded for the top 3 creations for children (ages 5-8), and youth (ages 9-12).
The contest is free to enter. Entries must be constructed almost entirely of edible materials (edibles are not restricted to sweets). The main structure should be constructed primarily of gingerbread or graham crackers. All entries must be solely constructed by the child entering the competition.
