Still have your ballot? Summit County voters urged to use a drop box

PARK CITY, Utah — With Election Day one day away, Summit County voters who still have their mail ballots should consider using an official ballot drop box rather than putting them in the mail.
Under a change approved by the Utah Legislature in 2025, ballots for the 2026 general election must be received by the Summit County Clerk’s Office by 8 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 3. In previous elections, ballots could qualify based on an Election Day postmark.
Summit County says completed ballots may be placed in an official drop box until 8 p.m. Tuesday. Voters may also vote in person on Election Day from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Official Summit County ballot drop boxes are located at:
- Summit County Health Department, 650 Round Valley Drive, Park City
- Park City Library, 1255 Park Ave.
- Jeremy Ranch Park & Ride, 3361 Rasmussen Road
- The Market at Park City, 1500 Snow Creek Drive
- Sheldon Richins Building, 1885 W. Ute Blvd., at the DMV entrance
- Summit County Library branches in Coalville and Kamas
- Francis City Hall
- Henefer Town Hall
- Summit County Courthouse in Coalville
- Oakley City Hall
Most locations are available 24 hours a day, though some have building-specific hours. All ballot drop boxes close at 8 p.m. on Election Day.
Voters can also track the status of their ballot through Utah’s BallotTrax system.
