PARK CITY, Utah — Rennstall has a new home, and it’s just steps away from some familiar neighbors.

The shop’s new location at 1790 Bonanza Dr. sits right next to White Pine Touring, making it easy for skiers and riders to find. The move keeps the same trusted service in a convenient spot for locals and visitors.

During the summer, the shop is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Customers can also still drop off their skis at White Pine Touring or Jans on Park Ave. Once the lifts start spinning, they will be open seven days a week at full hours.

While the address is new, everything that’s made Rennstall a go-to for tuning remains the same.

The shop’s technicians have tuned skis and snowboards for World Cup and Olympic athletes, and some of our staff are actively tuning for the US Ski and Snowboard teams. When they’re not on the road tuning for competitions, they bring that same level of expertise to every Rennstall customer. That experience is paired with world-class Wintersteiger tuning equipment, including the Wintersteiger Jupiter machine, enabling Rennstall to serve everyone from beginners to internationally competitive racers.

Rennstall may be best known as a tuning center for ski racers, but the shop’s technicians are just as skilled with snowboards. Several of them ride themselves, and they understand what it takes to improve a board’s performance. One of the shop’s snowboard customers went on to win an Olympic medal.

The team’s snowboard knowledge got another boost with the return of Andy Buckley, SBX (snowboard cross) technician for the U.S. Snowboarding team. Buckley started at Rennstall in 1997 before the national team recruited him in 2001. His tuning and waxing work has helped U.S. athletes reach the podium at the X Games, world championships, and the Olympics. His time with the national teams started with 6 years tuning for the men’s and women’s alpine ski teams, then 12 years with the SBX team. Back at Rennstall since 2018, Buckley brings nearly two decades of experience at the sport’s highest levels to every customer’s board.

During the ski season, Rennstall backs most snowboard and ski tunings with an overnight guarantee and its 100% satisfaction guarantee. Customers who drop off equipment by 5 p.m. at Rennstall, Jans on Park Ave. or White Pine Touring can pick it up by 8 a.m. the next day. The guarantee excludes Rennstall’s custom tune and major repairs, which require multi-day processes.

For visitors headed to Park City who want their skis tuned before they arrive, Rennstall offers a ship-to-tune service. Customers can send their skis ahead of their trip, or have them shipped back home once the tuning is complete.

Rennstall plans to celebrate the new location with an open house this fall, where the shop will introduce new programs. More details are expected to be announced as the date approaches. Long-time favorites like season tune cards will also be available.
