Free movie night brings ‘A Dog’s Way Home’ to Kamas City Park

Friday’s community event will feature free food trucks, Spanish subtitles and a food drive benefiting the Kamas and Oakley food pantries.

KAMAS, Utah — Community members are invited to a free outdoor movie night Friday, Aug. 14, at Kamas City Park, featuring food trucks and a screening of “A Dog’s Way Home.”

The event will feature a screening of “A Dog’s Way Home,” with Spanish subtitles. Free food trucks will be available from 5 to 7 p.m., with the movie beginning at 7 p.m.

The screening will take place at Kamas City Park, 505 S. Main St. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs for the outdoor showing.

Organizers are also partnering with the Kamas Valley Community Foundation to collect donations for the Kamas and Oakley food pantries. Guests can bring nonperishable, unexpired food items to donate during the event.

Admission, food, and the movie are free.
