Hive Family Collective and Park City Mom Co. will host a tailgate-style exchange May 9 for baby, children’s and maternity items

PARK CITY, Utah — Local families looking to clear out closets or find the next size up will have a chance to trade baby, children’s, and maternity gear at a free community swap next month.

Hive Family Collective and Park City Mom Co. will host the Spring Cleaning: Mom Gear Swap from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 9, at Loomis Park, 6450 Silver Creek Drive.

The event is designed as a tailgate-style exchange, with families invited to bring gently used baby, children’s, or maternity items, pop open their trunks, and share what they no longer need. Attendees may also take home items they can use.

Organizers said the swap is meant to offer a simple, sustainable way for families to pass along useful gear while supporting other local parents.

The event is free. Organizers said families should plan for limited shade at the park and bring hats, sunscreen, and other sun protection.

Any items left over after the swap will be donated to support families in the community.
