Women’s Giving Fund to host free menopause documentary screening in Park City

PARK CITY, Utah — A free screening of “The (M) Factor: Shredding the Silence on Menopause” will take place Thursday evening at the Park City Library, offering a rare community forum on a topic organizers say is long overdue for open conversation.

Women’s Giving Fund and Park City Film are presenting the event, which runs from 7 to 9 p.m. MDT at the Jim Santy Auditorium. Tea and sweets will be served before the one-hour documentary, followed by facilitated small-group discussions in the Community Room.

The film examines what organizers describe as widespread gaps in menopause care and awareness, and aims to reduce stigma while helping women make informed health decisions. Post-screening conversations are expected to touch on hormone replacement therapy, brain health, and strength training.

The program is designed for a broad audience, including people navigating perimenopause or menopause symptoms and those looking to learn more about women’s health and aging.

The event is free and open to the public. The Jim Santy Auditorium is located at the Park City Library, 1255 Park Ave. Registration is available through the Women’s Giving Fund website.
