Hope Alliance’s Sunnies for Sight returns to Park City Friday

PARK CITY, Utah — Hope Alliance will host its annual Sunnies for Sight fundraiser on Friday at Park Meadows Country Club.

The event features food, drinks, and designer sunglasses, with proceeds supporting the Park City-based nonprofit’s mission to provide free vision care to underserved communities.

Founded in 1999, Hope Alliance operates free vision clinics at the People’s Health Clinic in Park City and the Moab Free Health Clinic, offering comprehensive eye exams, prescription glasses, and diagnosis of eye disease. The organization also works internationally in Guatemala, Uganda, Mexico, and Tanzania.

Since its founding, Hope Alliance has served more than 210,000 people across 355 project sites in 20 countries.

Last year, the organization screened every Park City School District student flagged for poor eyesight and has since launched a mobile vision clinic to expand services into rural Utah communities, including the North Summit and South Summit school districts.

Sunnies for Sight is scheduled for Friday, March 13. Registration is available at secure.qgiv.com/for/sunniesforsight.
