KAMAS, Utah — Organizers of the Frontier Tour Championship announced Friday that the highly anticipated skijoring finals will move from Salt Lake City’s Utah State Fairpark to High Star Ranch in Kamas, with new dates set for Saturday, Feb. 28 and Sunday, March 1.
This will be the second PRO Skijor event in the Wasatch Back after the opening stop of the tour was held in Heber City.
According to PRO Skijor, the change comes in response to record-breaking warm and dry conditions across the West.
The proactive move ensures “teams and spectators alike get a true, Finals-worthy course, the best possible snow conditions, and the championship experience the sport deserves,” organizers said in a statement.
The Frontier Tour Championship will feature the top skijoring teams competing for the grand cash prize and the tour’s first-ever World Championship title. Organizers promise high-speed, high-stakes racing in a venue designed to match the sport’s intensity.
Fans who previously purchased tickets for Friday’s event in Salt Lake City can now choose between Saturday or Sunday admission at High Star Ranch.
Tickets purchased for Saturday in Salt Lake City will automatically transfer to Saturday’s event in Kamas. Spectators wanting the full weekend experience can bundle Saturday and Sunday tickets and receive 30% off at checkout. Tickets remain available at proskijor.com.
