Winter wins World Cup as aerialists Vinecki, Dehlinger, Tanner take top-5s in Canada

QUEBEC, Canada — U.S. Ski & Snowboard Team celebrated Park City resident Winter Vinecki, who has gone back-to back podiums in international freestyle aerials competition, winning first, then second place on Tuesday and Wednesday.

“It’s so special, and it’s so exciting having all of these kids here cheering us on,” Vinecki said to U.S. Ski & Snowboard. “It’s such an amazing feeling being back on top of the podium, especially coming off of an injury last season. I’m just really excited.”

Vinecki, who trains at the Utah Olympic Park, stole the show in Canada, earning her sixth World Cup win. She threw a full full full for the second time in competition and the first time in an individual event.

Also on the first of two days of Canadian competition, Quinn Dehlinger, already having qualified to jump in the 2026 Milan Cortina Olympics one month from now threw a double full full full earning 123.53 points to finish on the podium in third place.

Park City’s Tasia Tanner finished in fourth place, a personal best for her on Tuesday.

Karenna Elliot, who works with Youth Sports Alliance and is returning to competition after a knee injury, just missed out on finals on day one, finishing 14th.
