Park City earns spot on national “Top Travel” lists for 2026

PARK CITY, Utah —As travelers plan for the year ahead, Park City is earning attention on national “top destinations” lists. The town has been recognized as a top 2026 travel hot spot by Forbes Travel Guide’s “Top Destinations for 2026” and Condé Nast Traveler’s “The Best Places to Go in 2026.

Much of the recognition highlights winter recreation. Forbes specifically noted Deer Valley Resort, which recently expanded to 4,300 skiable acres with 100 new runs, 10 chairlifts, and a gondola. The resort is also developing Deer Valley East Village, which will feature North America’s largest “ski beach” and a new Four Seasons hotel.

Condé Nast also highlighted Deer Valley, promoting its average annual snowfall of 300 inches and advanced snowmaking system, making it a popular destination for skiing and other outdoor activities. The publication also noted this as Park City’s last year hosting the Sundance Film Festival, “culminating with what organizers call ‘a celebration full of gratitude and joy’ to honor founder Robert Redford and the cultural milestone this moment represents.”

Tourism experts expect Park City to remain a popular destination in the coming year, with its winter recreation and resort developments continuing to draw visitors throughout the ski season.
