PARK CITY, Utah — Park City got a national shout out as a featured destination in the New York Times’s 36 Hours series.
The series highlights major cities across the globe, providing a guide for travelers who only have a weekend to explore.
NYT touted Park City as a “former silver-mining hub turned sporty mecca,” and cited Deer Valley’s terrain expansion, the new Canyons Village gondola, and the last year of Sundance as major draws to the city.
The itinerary jumps from key locations across the city, highlighting mountain recreation, cultural stops, award-winning eats, and lodging recommendations.
Park City was also recently included on top travel lists for 2026 by Forbes magazine and Conde Nast.
