“Valiant effort from everyone tonight,” Berry told TownLift after the match. “One more game to go, job’s not finished.”
Berry plays center position on the ice and is an assistant team captain. After the night’s success, he also became PCHS’s all-time leading scorer this year, with 52 points scored this season. The previous PCHS record was 40 points in a season. The game also sets Berry squarely in second place for scoring among all Utah teams.
Berry has played on the Park City High School Hockey Team for four years, three of them on this Red Varsity Team. Berry racked up 91 total points in his three years with the Red Varsity Team, the previous record was 72 points in a career with the Red Team.
Recently, Berry earned his private pilots license at the Salt Lake City Airport and is working on his goal of becoming an airline pilot. He also spends time with hobbies like dirtbiking and snowmobiling. He looks forward to the opportunity to play in the Park City Men’s League Hockey with his dad, Nick, after graduating this year.

Park City will play its next game Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Murray Ice Rink, with a State Championship title on the line. A win would mark the team’s fifth championship appearance in the past six years. The opponent has yet to be determined.
