COALVILLE, Utah — Summit County Animal Control is asking the community for donations to help care for the hundreds of animals they serve each year.
The agency has created an Amazon wish list featuring items used daily at the shelter. Officials said their needs can fluctuate significantly based on the animals in their care.
In addition to items on the wish list, the shelter accepts donations of newspaper, towels and blankets.
Donations can be dropped off or shipped to the animal shelter at 1745 S. Hoytsville Rd, Coalville, UT 84017. The shelter accepts donations during business hours, Monday through Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
According to Summit County Animal Control, donations help keep pets safe, healthy and comfortable while they await placement in homes.
The agency also welcomes volunteers. Those interested in volunteering can call the shelter at 435-336-3985 to get started.
