SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort will officially open for the 2025-26 season on Sunday, Dec. 7. The Gadzoom and Chickadee chairlifts will be operating for early-season skiing.
As of 11 a.m. Friday, the resort had received 3 inches of fresh snow, with more expected throughout the day. Between 18-32 inches are forecasted to fall in the Cottonwoods through Sunday morning.
Skiers and snowboarders can look forward to top-to-bottom terrain as Snowbird kicks off another winter season in the Wasatch Mountains.
