Luge World Cup making an Olympic-year stop in Park City, Dec. 12, 13

PARK CITY, Utah — On December 12 and 13 the Eberspacher Luge World Cup is making it’s second stop of the season at the Utah Olympic Park. Admission to the event is free for the whole family to watch the top athletes from around the world compete in this Olympic year.
Activities, food, and beverages will be available during the event days.
The United States will have a broad showing of athletes including three from Park City who got their start in the sport through the Youth Sports Alliance and the Wasatch Luge Club.

Friday, December 12
- 10 a.m. Nations Cup
- 3.10 p.m. 1st run Men’s Singles
- 4.35 p.m. 1st run Women’s Singles
- 6 p.m. 1st run Men’s Doubles
- 6.49 p.m. 1st run Women’s Doubles
- 7.45 p.m. 2nd run Men’s Doubles
- 8.27 p.m. 2nd run Women’s Doubles
Men’s Doubles and Women’s Doubles Ceremonies located in the finish area.
Saturday, December 13
- 4.15 p.m. 2nd run Men’s Singles
- 5.20 p.m. 2nd run Women’s Singles
Men’s Singles and Women’s Singles Ceremonies located in the finish area.
- 7 p.m. Team Relay
Team Relay Flowers & Medals Ceremonies located in the finish area.
President of the Wasatch Luge Club, Pete Gillwald will be the Race Director and Parkite Callum Clark will manage the event for the Utah Olympic Legacy Foundation.
The Luge World Cup season started in Germany. After Park City, the tour heads to Lake Placid, then on to Latvia, back to Germany, and then to Switzerland.
