PARK CITY, Utah — With the rush of the holidays in full swing, several local organizations are inviting residents to slow down, give back, and help spread cheer to families across Summit and Wasatch counties. Here are a few ways to get involved this season:

Operation Hope

Operation Hope is gearing up for another year of supporting local families with holiday gifts and essentials. Volunteers are needed to help sort toys, decorate event space, assist with setup, and guide families as they shop for gifts. Learn about the program, donate, or sign up to volunteer.

Clark’s Christmas Wrap Party

Clark’s Christmas returns with its annual gift-wrapping party at the Hyatt Centric in Canyons Village on Wednesday, December 17, from 5:30–8 p.m. (or until everything is wrapped). Last year, volunteers wrapped more than 800 gifts, and organizers expect even more this year.

A cash bar and holiday treats will be available, and all wrapping supplies are provided. All ages are welcome.

Participants are encouraged to sign up in advance to receive a reminder.

Junction Commons: Gift Wrap for a Cause

Shoppers at Junction Commons can get their gifts wrapped while supporting a rotation of local nonprofits. Each day, a different organization will staff the Wrap for a Cause station, offering complimentary gift wrapping in exchange for tips and donations. 100 percent of donations go directly to the nonprofit on site
