PARK CITY, Utah — This season, escape to a snowy sanctuary where twinkling lights, mountain views and festive moments await. At Grand Hyatt Deer Valley, winter programming includes everything from cocoa by the fire to snowman building, designed to spark joy, connection and a touch of holiday magic for both guests and locals looking for something out of the ordinary.
The resort is celebrating the holidays with a curated calendar of seasonal experiences for all ages. Beginning Dec. 17, sunrise yoga to gingerbread house competitions, activities run throughout the season.

Drop-in activities are available daily, offering spontaneous moments throughout your stay:
Fireside s’mores (4-6 p.m., Double Black Café Patio) — Complimentary treats and gathering space around the fire pit.
Après ski: Snowspell (2-6 p.m. daily, with DJ entertainment Friday-Sunday 3-6 p.m. starting Dec. 19, Remington Hall) — Alpine cocktails and weekend entertainment.
Hot cocoa and coffee bar (6-9 a.m., Lobby) — Handcrafted syrups, house-made marshmallows and locally roasted coffee.
Moose on the loose — A daily scavenger hunt for children with prizes.
Letters to Santa and troops — All-day note writing at Camp Hyatt for children to share holiday wishes and send messages to service members.

A Grand festive celebration
Each week features themed programming alongside daily offerings.
Week one: A festive warm-up (Dec. 17-23)
The season opens with welcome receptions, reindeer visits and carolers. Hands-on activities include gingerbread house construction and ornament decorating.
Week two: Christmas celebrations (Dec. 24-30)
Christmas week includes Breakfast with Santa, snowman-building competitions, live jazz performances, cookie decorating and a resort-wide holiday scavenger hunt.
Week three: New Year revelry (Dec. 31-Jan. 4)
The final week features an elegant New Year’s dinner, a kids’ countdown party, sunrise yoga, craft beer and fondue night, and a farewell brunch. Ring in the New Year Western-style with Grand Hyatt’s Midnight Rodeo. The evening will feature elevated cuisine, festive cocktails, and live entertainment that evolves with the night. Expect cozy corners and lively moments, from acoustic melodies to late‑night dancing, all set against a backdrop that nods to “Western Glam”—where rustic charm meets refined sparkle.
Whether staying for a weekend or the full season, guests can enjoy a variety of activities. From arrival through departure, the schedule includes warmth, connection and seasonal indulgence. Activities range from post-ski celebrations to quieter moments by the fire.
