Vail Resorts names longtime lululemon executive Celeste Burgoyne as chief revenue officer

PARK CITY, Utah – Vail Resorts, Inc. (MTN) has hired Celeste Burgoyne, a senior executive at lululemon, to serve as its next executive vice president and chief revenue officer. She will assume the role on Jan. 26, 2026, the company announced Friday.

Burgoyne currently serves as lululemon’s president of the Americas and global guest innovation and has spent 19 years with the Vancouver-based apparel company. She will remain at lululemon through the end of December to assist with the transition.

In her new position, Burgoyne will oversee Vail Resorts’ marketing operations, lead the company’s digital and guest-experience strategies, and be responsible for a broad portfolio of revenue-generating functions across its network of ski areas in North America, Europe and Australia, according to a press release. The role includes managing the guest journey, shaping online and in-person service systems, and guiding efforts to modernize the company’s digital platforms.

Burgoyne has held multiple leadership roles at lululemon since joining the company in 2006, including responsibilities in e-commerce, customer relationship management, retail operations and real estate. She played a central role in scaling the brand from fewer than 10 U.S. stores to more than 750 locations worldwide and helped launch the company’s membership program. Before lululemon, she worked for a decade at Abercrombie & Fitch.

In a statement, Vail Resorts CEO Rob Katz said the company expects Burgoyne’s experience in customer engagement and brand development to support its next phase of growth. The resort operator has been expanding internationally and investing in digital improvements aimed at streamlining the guest experience, including lift access, resort navigation and advance booking tools.

Burgoyne, who lives in Vancouver, said she and her family are regular visitors to Whistler Blackcomb and that she is familiar with the company’s operations as a customer.

As chief revenue officer, Burgoyne will manage many of Vail Resorts’ core income streams, including pass sales, lodging, dining, retail and other resort services. The company said her role will also involve exploring new revenue opportunities, developing year-round visitation strategies and refining how the brand interacts with guests online.

Vail Resorts operates more than 40 mountain resorts, including Park City Mountain.
