Stein Collection delivers holiday meals to Hill Air Force Base families

PARK CITY, Utah — Preparations are underway for the Stein Collection’s annual Thanksgiving and Christmas meal deliveries to military families at Hill Air Force Base, continuing a tradition that began in 2018.

The Park City-based hospitality group partners with the Military & Family Readiness Center at Hill Air Force Base each year to support families whose spouses are deployed overseas. The initiative is led by Dan Bullert, Chief Operating Officer of the Stein Collection and a Navy veteran, along with Corporate Executive Chef Jon Miller. Together, they and their team prepare and hand-deliver holiday meals to 15 families on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Eve.

“Our mission is to honor and support the families of our deployed service members by providing meals prepared by award-winning chefs,” Bullert said. “We are dedicated to easing the burden faced by military families during the holidays by offering comfort and care through every meal served.”

Each meal serves a family of six and includes traditional holiday favorites such as roasted turkey with gravy, cranberry sauce, Yukon Gold mashed potatoes, roasted yams and sweet potatoes with marshmallows, stuffing, green beans, Parker House rolls, and either pumpkin or pecan pie.

Bullert stated that these deliveries are one small way the Stein Collection team expresses gratitude for the sacrifices made by military families. “It’s a gesture of appreciation,” he said, “and a reminder that their community cares.”
