PARK CITY, Utah — The Park Silly Sunday Market wrapped up another successful season this year, drawing nearly 180,000 visitors to Main Street and maintaining strong sustainability and community engagement numbers, according to a city staff report.
The report, prepared by Park City’s Special Events Department, notes that attendance reached 179,756, slightly below 2024’s total of 186,970, with peak crowds on July 20 and August 31.
The department also proposed 11 Sundays for the 2026 season dates, which will begin one week later than usual: June 7–28, July 12–19, August 30, and September 6–27. The dates were approved by the city council.
Local sustainability
Alternative transportation efforts continued to be a focus this past season, with the bike valet seeing over 1,325 riders, up from 1,184 in 2024. Sunday transit ridership remained strong at 41,074 total riders — roughly 3,734 per day — nearly identical to last year’s totals.
Nearly a quarter of all vendors were local businesses based in Summit County or the Wasatch Back. The Market also supported community engagement through 102 free booths for nonprofits, farmers, and local artist groups, along with 52 reduced-cost booths for youth vendors.
