PARK CITY, Utah — A Main Street tradition is turning 25 this year. No Name Saloon will once again open its doors on Thanksgiving Day to serve a free holiday meal to locals and visitors — a community event that’s become a beloved Park City ritual.
The annual “Freebird! Free Thanksgiving Dinner” will begin at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 27, and continue until the food runs out. The meal is complimentary and open to everyone, offering a warm place to gather for those who may be far from home or simply looking to share in the spirit of the holiday.
Prepared by local catering company Done to Your Taste, the buffet features all the Thanksgiving staples — turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and seasonal sides — along with the camaraderie that has made the event a local favorite for a quarter century.
“We’re incredibly thankful for this amazing community that has supported No Name Saloon through all these years,” said owner Jesse Shetler. “This dinner is our way of saying thanks — a small gesture of appreciation to the locals, travelers, and friends who make Park City such a special place.”
What started as a simple act of gratitude has grown into a downtown gathering that draws hundreds each year. Alongside the meal, guests can expect football on the big screens and the familiar buzz of Main Street’s busiest pub — though those under 21 are encouraged to join the festivities next door at the Annex Burger side.
For 25 years, No Name Saloon’s Thanksgiving feast has embodied the heart of Park City’s community spirit: neighbors, visitors, and staff all coming together to give thanks — one plate at a time.
