SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah — Check your mailboxes, voters! The Summit County Clerk’s Office began mailing ballots October 14, for the 2025 General Election, which will be held Tuesday, November 4.
Voters should note an important change this year: ballots must be received by the Clerk’s Office by 8 p.m. on Election Day to be counted. In the past, ballots only needed to be postmarked by the day before the election. Officials are urging voters to plan ahead and return ballots early.
The deadline to register and receive a vote-by-mail ballot is 5 p.m. on October 24.
Another update for Park City voters — the Voting Center has moved from the Marsac Building to the Quinn’s Health Department Lower Conference Room at 650 Round Valley Drive. The Marsac Building will not serve as a polling location this election.
Municipal offices on the ballot include:
- Coalville City Mayor and City Council
- Francis City Mayor and City Council
- Henefer Town Mayor
- Camas City Council
- Oakley City Mayor and City Council
- Park City Mayor and City Council
- Summit County Service Area No. 3 Upper and Lower Board of Trustees
Voters will also decide on two ballot questions:
West Hills Incorporation — Shall the area described as West Hills be incorporated as the Town of West Hills?
North Summit School District Bond — Shall the Board of Education be authorized to issue up to $121 million in general obligation bonds for land acquisition and new school construction?
