Salt Lake Climbers Alliance, Utah Historical Society to host historical hikes in Little Cottonwood Canyon

SALT LAKE CITY, UT — The Salt Lake Climbers Alliance (SLCA), a nonprofit organization dedicated to rock climbing stewardship and advocacy, is partnering with the Utah Historical Society to host a series of public historical hikes along the Alpenbock Loop in lower Little Cottonwood Canyon.
These moderate-difficulty hikes, which span approximately 1.5 miles, will take place on October 11, 18, and 25, from 10 a.m. to noon. Participants will have the opportunity to explore the canyon’s cultural and climbing history, including insights into the Alpenbock Club and its legacy in the Wasatch Mountains.
The hikes are free and open to the public.
