PARK CITY, Utah — A 37 year-old Park City woman was arrested last week after allegedly attacking her neighbor with a knife.
According to court documents, a Park City police officer responded to an apartment complex after receiving a call from the housing manager. The victim told officers that Hanna Boutin had been pounding on his apartment door, demanding money she claimed he owed her. When he opened the door, he saw she was holding a knife.
The victim reported that a fight broke out in the doorway and he eventually wrestled the knife away from Boutin, throwing it inside his apartment before locking himself inside.
Surveillance footage confirmed that Boutin had a fixed-blade knife in her hand and that the altercation occurred as the victim described.
During the fight, the victim sustained a minor skin injury on his upper chest, though it is unclear what caused it. The wall behind the apartment’s entry door was also damaged, which the victim said happened when the door slammed open during the struggle.
Officers contacted Boutin in her apartment, where she admitted to going to her neighbor’s door with a knife and being involved in the altercation.
She was arrested for aggravated assault and aggravated burglary and booked into the Summit County Jail.
According to court records, Boutin had previously been arrested in July at the Kimball Junction Transit Center for assault following an intoxicated altercation with a different man.
