Park City boys water polo gets second place at state champs

KEARNS, Utah — The Park City Miners Boys Water Polo Team got second place in the High School State Championships tournament in Kearns on Saturday.

Additionally, the Team’s Academic All-Americans were recently named and they include, for Outstanding Honors; Scarlett Abbett, Samantha Vogel, Gavin Ziesler, and Honors to Camden Hardy.
At the Kearns Oquirrh Park Fitness Center venue, the Miners received the silver medal.
They posted on social media, “We put in a great effort against a tremendous Kearns team!”
The varsity boys, who train at the Park City Aquatic Center in the Ecker Hill Middle School, had an impressive 3 – 0 record in this years’ playoffs before the Kearns High School took the gold.
