PARK CITY, Utah — There’s still time to get out on the trails before snow settles in to the mountains — and three new routes are opening just in time to enjoy the tail end of Park City’s fall colors.
Two new trails have been added at the Utah Olympic Park’s West Peak.
The Gold Pedal Mile is a fast, downhill-only flow trail accessed from the Moose Puddle trailhead. Rated blue for intermediate difficulty, it features steep terrain, rolling jumps, and a trail width of at least 42 inches, making it adaptive-friendly.
The Sasquatch Trail begins on Olympic Parkway just above the Game Changer chair. The 4.4-mile out-and-back route climbs 1,200 vertical feet, offering a challenging but rewarding hike.
Meanwhile, the Mountain Trails Foundation announced progress on the Bonanza to WoW connection trail. Crews are putting the finishing touches on the route and hope to have it ready for riders by the weekend, weather permitting.
