Deer Valley hosts Halloween “Transylvania Tea Party” blood drive

PARK CITY, Utah – In partnership with ARUP Blood Services, Deer Valley Resort is inviting eligible blood donors to roll up their sleeves for the annual Transylvania Tea Party blood drive. The life-giving Halloween tradition will be held Friday, Oct. 31, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Silver Baron Lodge.

“First-time and veteran blood donors are welcome to participate in this year’s Transylvania Tea Party blood drive to contribute to our local blood banks,” said Deer Valley Resort President & Chief Operating Officer Todd Bennett. “Deer Valley’s HR team and ARUP Blood Services have teamed up again to provide a comfortable, laid-back environment for individuals who are willing and available to donate.”

The Deer Valley Transylvania Tea Party will take place at Silver Baron Lodge at 2880 Deer Valley Dr. in Park City. Walk-ins are welcome, and appointments can be scheduled online at arupbloodservices.org. Halloween costumes are encouraged but optional. Light refreshments will be provided.

Donors must be 18 or older (or at least 16 years old with parental permission slip), weigh at least 110 pounds, be in good health, and provide a photo ID.
