PARK CITY, Utah — The Arts Council of Park City and Summit County will host a community celebration in honor of Día de los Muertos on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2024, from 2 to 5 p.m. at CREATE PC.
Día de los Muertos, rooted in Mexican tradition, honors the lives of those who have passed while celebrating connection, legacy, and the beauty of life.

Local artists Clara Amezcua and Ramón Ramos will lead the creation of a collaborative ofrenda, inviting community members to contribute marigolds, photos, or mementos in remembrance of their loved ones.
Additionally, sugar skull artist Graciela Caro will guide participants through a sugar skull-making workshop, and ColoryFaces will return to offer free face painting.
Traditional foods, including tamales, pan de muerto, and Mexican hot chocolate, will be served throughout the afternoon.
The event is free and open to all ages.
