PARK CITY, Utah — Former NFL players Ryan Fitzpatrick and Andrew Whitworth will attend Park City High School’s football game Friday as part of Amazon’s “Thursday Night Football” coverage.
The pair, now on-air talent for Amazon Prime Video, will capture footage on the sidelines when the Miners face Provo High School at 7 p.m. Oct. 3 at Dozier Field. Portions of their visit will air Oct. 9 during the Philadelphia Eagles-New York Giants pregame show, and content will be shared across Amazon’s social media channels.
Park City School District said all student-athletes signed appearance releases, and notices of filming will be posted at the stadium. Fans are encouraged to arrive early.
“This is such a special opportunity for our student-athletes to be recognized beyond our community,” Superintendent Lyndsay Huntsman said in a statement. “We’re grateful to the NFL and Amazon’s ‘Thursday Night Football’ team for stopping by to celebrate our students and the incredible effort they put in, both on and off the field.”
