This 7-mile ride up to Guardsman Pass isn’t just about your fastest time—it’s about your best costume and having a good time with the community.
PARK CITY, Utah — Park City’s most fun-filled mountain bike tradition, Tour de Suds, returns Sunday, September 7, blending high-altitude cardio with low-pressure vibes. Hosted by the Mountain Trails Foundation, this 7-mile ride up to Guardsman Pass isn’t just about your fastest time—it’s about your best costume and having a good time with the community.
What started over four decades ago as a lighthearted end-of-season ride has become a full-blown community spectacle. Expect to see everything from superheroes to tutus powering up the trail, with 2,200 feet of elevation gain serving as the only serious part of the day.
Riders of all levels are welcome, and while there’s a clock, most are racing for laughs, not placement. The reward: cold suds and high-fives, followed by a lively after-party with costume contests, prizes, and plenty of camaraderie back at City Park.
