PARK CITY, Utah — The second annual Serve Park City: Community Day of Service will take place on Sept. 13, bringing together residents and visitors for a day of volunteer projects throughout the town.
Last year’s event drew more than 900 volunteers who supported 27 projects. This year, organizers have expanded the effort to 36 projects and are aiming to involve 1,000 participants.
“Park City is all about skiing, mountain biking, hiking, and volunteering,” organizers said. “It’s an amazing way to connect with neighbors while making our community stronger.”
The day begins at 8:30 a.m. in City Park with a 9/11 Day of Remembrance observance and a burrito breakfast, before volunteers head to their assigned locations.
Volunteer opportunities include trail cleanups, supporting local nonprofits, and assisting with community projects. Registration is available at www.justserve.org/serveparkcity.
Organizers said the event is designed to strengthen community bonds while honoring the tradition of service.
