Monday, September 8
Incident: Traffic Hazard
An adult female was reported walking in and out of the lanes of traffic on State Route 40 near mile marker 13.
Incident: Wildlife Problem
An injured deer was reported near the bridge on Marsac Avenue close to Red Cloud.
Incident: Wildlife Problem
A caller on Golden Way reported finding what appeared to be a dead baby moose next to a pond in their front yard. The mother moose was nearby and appeared upset.
Tuesday, September 9
Incident: Wildlife Problem
A deer that had been hit by a car was reported on Holiday Ranch Loop Road. The caller said the deer was still alive but had broken legs.
Wednesday, September 10
Incident: Wildlife Problem
A “huge” bull moose was reported standing in the roadway near Marsac Avenue and Deer Valley Drive at the Deer Valley Roundabout.
Incident: Traffic Hazard
A caller reported a large amount of asphalt spilled on State Route 224 near the turn lane at Park Avenue and Kearns Boulevard.
Thursday, September 11
Incident: Theft
A theft was reported at the Snow Creek Market. Staff obtained the suspect’s information, but the individual had left the scene.
Friday, September 12
Incident: Utility Problem
A caller reported that their neighbor’s tree had fallen onto a power line on Park Avenue. The caller was out of the country and saw it on their Ring camera.
Incident: Wildlife Problem
A bull moose near 9th Street and Park Avenue was reportedly drawing a crowd, according to Park City Municipal.
Incident: Disturbing the Peace
A loud party was reported on Park Avenue. The caller said this was a regular occurrence and that people were yelling and making noise late at night. Officers checked the noise level at the residence due to prior complaints about the back door being left open and causing disturbances.
Saturday, September 13
Incident: Hit and Run
A white Ford F-150 was struck by a black lifted Jeep Wrangler on the eastbound off-ramp of State Route 40 at exit 4. The Jeep, which had no spare tire on the back and a soft black top, left the scene.
Sunday, September 14
Incident: Wildlife Problem
A caller reported possibly seeing a mountain lion near Queen Esther Drive and Deer Valley Drive East while walking their dog.
