Homeowners can claim two free trees this fall as part of Planting Park City program

PARK CITY, Utah — Park City homeowners can sign up to receive two free trees through a partnership between Park City Municipal and the Arbor Day Foundation.
Four drought-tolerant tree varieties are available to select from: Spring Snow Flowering Crab, Amur Maple, Autumn Blaze Maple, and Colorado Spruce.
The trees are available until supplies last, with a limit of two trees per household. Sign up to reserve trees here: get.arborday.org/plantingparkcity.
Trees must be picked up Wednesday, October 15 from 3-6 p.m. in the Quinns Junction dirt lot. Unclaimed trees will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 6 p.m. The trees are only available to residents living in the 84060 area code.
The offering is part of the Planting Park City program, which has planted over 1,000 healthy trees around town.
