LITTLE COTTONWOOD CANYON, Utah – Snowbird Resort shared a social media post Tuesday afternoon showing the first snowflakes of the 2025-26 season at the top of Mineral Basin chairlift and at the top of the tram. While the snow wasn’t of the high-quality, dry type Utah riders love, temperatures at the peak hovered at 32 degrees Tuesday afternoon – enough to produce a snowfall that hopefully forbears the ample season to come.
