SNAPPED: Practically perfect in every gust

PARK CITY, Utah — A blustery breeze gave Park City a surprise sideshow Wednesday afternoon when a patio umbrella at the Park City Library took flight just before 5 p.m., channeling its inner Mary Poppins.
The umbrella, left open on the library’s patio, caught a gust and soared across Park Avenue, landing near the bus stop — a bit less graceful than Mary, but just as dramatic. Luckily, no one was hurt, though a few startled onlookers did a double take.
No word yet on whether the umbrella sang on its way across the street, but one thing’s clear: never underestimate a Wasatch wind.
