SNAPPED: Art on the Trails showcases live music and performance along McLeod Creek

PARK CITY, Utah — Art and nature intertwined on Saturday, Aug. 23, as the Arts Council of Park City & Summit County, in partnership with Basin Recreation, presented the annual Art on the Trails.

Tours set out from the Copper Moose Farm Stand on Old Ranch Road, guiding participants along McLeod Creek Trail to Temple Har Shalom and back.

Along the route, visitors encountered site-inspired performances, interactive artwork, and unexpected bursts of creativity.

The 2025 lineup featured Elizabeth Bee Music, Cultural Fire Events, Rhythm Nation Tap Company, Changing Lanes Band, Park City Opera, Christopher Danz, Utah Symphony’s Jessica Danz, and Steel Ranch Welding. Each brought their craft to the natural setting, creating an immersive experience where performance and landscape blended seamlessly.

After the 1.5-hour trail tours, the community gathered back at Copper Moose Farm Stand for food, drinks, and live music by Changing Lanes Band until 6 p.m.

INTI Specialty Coffee, Free Pour Beverages, and Copper Moose Farm Stand rounded out the refreshments.

The event highlighted accessibility, with ADA-friendly trails and ASL interpretation available upon request. Proceeds from the afternoon supported the Arts Council’s year-round programming.
