PARK CITY, Utah — A vehicle traveling on Rasmussen Road veered off the roadway and onto the adjacent bike path Friday afternoon.
According to Sgt. Skyler Talbot of the Summit County Sheriff’s Office, the driver, and the sole occupant of the vehicle, experienced an apparent medical issue that caused her to lose control. The car left the roadway and came to rest on its side near the bike tunnel.

Fire crews extricated the driver from the vehicle, and she was transported to Park City Hospital in stable condition, Park City Fire Marshal Mike Owens said.

No one on the bike path was injured.
