September in Park City: Miner’s Day, historic walking tours, concerts, and dining specials

PARK CITY, Utah — September kicks off with Park City Miner’s Day on Main Street, followed by a month of tours, lectures, and special events highlighting the town’s rich mining heritage.

The Historic Park City Alliance (HPCA) is inviting locals and visitors alike to connect with the community’s past through a variety of activities, ranging from parades and mining competitions to guided tours and live music.

“So much of what we love about Park City today stems from our historic roots, and there are so many ways to honor and celebrate our rich history this month,” said Ginger Wicks, executive director of the Historic Park City Alliance. “We invite guests to participate in our quirky traditions, learn our unique stories, and meet our small business owners who are writing the next chapter of Park City’s story.”

Miner’s Day Festivities

The annual Miner’s Day celebration on Sept. 1 will fill Main Street and City Park with a full slate of activities for all ages. Events include the Miners Day Breakfast, the Bark City 5k Run, the Running of the Balls, and the Miners Day Parade.
