PARK CITY, Utah — Preliminary results are in for the 2025 Park City Municipal primary election for two seats on the Park City Council. In the primary election a total of eight candidates competed for four spots on the November ballot, meaning half will be eliminated in the primary.
Preliminary unofficial results place Tana Toly, Diego Zegarra, Jeremy Rubell, and John “J.K.” Kenworthy among the candidates advancing to the general election.
These results are preliminary. No further updates are expected to be released until the official canvass on August 26, 2025, when the Summit County Board of Canvassers certifies the election. The canvass includes counting any remaining valid ballots (such as late-arriving mail ballots postmarked by Election Day) and finalizing the official totals.
