Monday, July 28

Incident: Disturbing the Peace
A caller on Woodside Avenue reported vacationers nearby being very loud and requested to speak with an officer before action was taken.

Tuesday, July 29

Incident: Brush Fire / Search and Rescue
Campers reported a small brush fire near Meadow Lake. Northern Fire Authority and Star 8 were deployed, and a hand crew extinguished the blaze. No evacuations were needed, and SAR was cancelled.

Incident: Suspicious Activity
A man was reported in the lower parking lot at the First Time chair lift on Lowell Avenue. He was playing loud music and swinging a golf club at a concrete barrier.

Incident: Wildlife Problem
A moose with two calves was reported near Bear Hollow Drive and North SR-224, close to the travel lane.

Incident: Fireworks
People were reported setting off fireworks in the parking lot of McPolin Elementary School.

Wednesday, July 30

Incident: Domestic Assault
Deputies responded to the Kimball Transit Center for a report of an intoxicated female who assaulted a male. The woman was taken into custody without incident.

Thursday, July 31

Incident: Traffic Hazard
A truck unloading materials on Swede Alley was blocking one lane. A civilian was observed directing traffic around the vehicle.

Friday, August 1

Incident: Intoxication
Deputies responded to Center Drive for a report of an unconscious male behind the Basin Recreation building. The man, Dylan Mares, was found highly intoxicated, treated at Park City Hospital, and booked into jail.

Incident: Disturbing the Peace
Several people were reported playing loud music and urinating on a property on Woodside Avenue around 1 a.m.

Incident: Citizen Dispute
Neighbors on Sunnyside Drive reported an ongoing dispute over electricity theft. One neighbor allegedly stole power from another, who later retaliated by doing the same.

Incident: Disturbing the Peace
A bachelor party on Woodside Avenue was reported for being excessively loud.

Incident: Fireworks
Large fireworks were reported near Doc Holliday Drive, possibly behind the high school.

Saturday, August 2

Incident: Traffic Hazard
An animal was reported in the roadway on Deer Valley Drive between the roundabout and Bonanza Drive. The caller believed it was still alive.

Incident: Disturbing the Peace
A caller reported very loud noise coming from a balcony across the street on Three Kings Drive.

Sunday, August 3

Incident: DUI
A vehicle crashed through a fence and into a shed at a residence on Aspen Drive. Deputies determined the driver was intoxicated. They were arrested and booked into the Summit County Jail.
