Park City Mountain to offer half-price lift tickets for friends of Epic Pass holders

PARK CITY, Utah — Skiers and snowboarders hitting Park City Mountain next winter will have a new way to save money when riding with friends. Beginning in the 2025/26 season, the resort will introduce Epic Friend Tickets, offering 50% off lift ticket window prices for friends of Epic Pass holders, including Epic Military Pass holders.

The new perk replaces the resort’s previous Buddy Ticket program, giving pass holders between six and 10 discounted tickets depending on when they purchased their pass. The half-price tickets can be used at any of Vail Resorts’ 37 North American destinations during the 2025/26 season.

Epic Friend Tickets are automatically loaded onto most season-long Epic Pass products, including the Epic Pass, Epic Local Pass, Epic Military Pass, and Northeast Value Pass.

Park City Mountain says the discount applies to full-day lift tickets, granting friends complete access to the resort’s 7,300 acres of skiable terrain. Additionally, the cost of a redeemed Epic Friend Ticket can be applied toward the purchase of an eligible 2026/27 Epic Pass.

Epic Pass prices for the upcoming season will increase after Sept. 1.
