Mid Mountain Trailhead closes for construction improvements

PARK CITY, Utah — The Mid Mountain Trailhead, located off Marsac Avenue above the Montage closed this week for construction improvements.

The Mountain Trails Foundation announced that the project will expand the trailhead’s parking area and add toilet facilities. The new lot will improve traffic flow, so vehicles won’t have to back onto Marsac Avenue. The closure is expected to last several weeks.

The Mid Mountain Trail is one of Park City’s most frequently used routes, connecting a wide network of trails across the area. The foundation said the upgrades are intended to improve access and address high use at the site.

While the lot is closed, trail users are encouraged to access the area from other trailheads or take public transit. Park City Transit’s free Purple 9 line offers service near the Mid Mountain Trailhead.
