PARK CITY, Utah — The Park City Song Summit will offer a full slate of free wellness activities and live music performances Friday and Saturday, Aug. 15-16, at Library Field, with opportunities for both locals and visitors to start their day outdoors and connect with the community.
“Song Summit Foundation offers year-round programming for our local community. During Song Summit, we’re thrilled to present free community events—Mindful Mornings and live concerts—that are all about connection, wellness, and incredible music. We want everyone to feel welcome and part of the magic of Song Summit,” Meredith Lavitt, Executive Director, Song Summit Foundation, shared.
Mindful Morning Wellness Activities
Each morning from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., participants can take part in yoga, meditation and a sound bath led by instructors from PC Yoga Collective, or join a guided hike with White Pine Touring. Organizers say the sessions are designed to help attendees tap into body, heart and mind, leaving them more present and ready for the day’s events.
The wellness activities are open to pass holders, ticket holders and the public at no cost. Mats will be provided for pass holders, while locals are asked to bring their own. Those opting for the hike should wear closed-toed footwear and bring water.
Songwriters’ Porch Performances
Following the morning sessions, the Songwriters’ Porch stage will host free, all-ages performances from local and emerging artists throughout the afternoon. The shows are presented by Mountain Town Music and the Song Summit Foundation’s Summit Rising program, which supports the next generation of musicians.
