Conflict Transformation Workshop with Chad Ford set for Aug. 22 in Park City

PARK CITY, Utah — Mountain Mediation Center will host a Conflict Transformation Workshop on Aug. 22, featuring internationally recognized peacemaker and author Chad Ford.

The workshop, scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Blair Education Center, is designed for individuals and organizations seeking to improve conflict resolution skills. Participants will earn 3.5 hours of Continuing Legal Education credit.

Ford, who has mediated disputes worldwide, will lead the interactive session. His approach combines theory, practice, and games to help attendees navigate challenging conversations and build sustainable solutions.

“We are thrilled to bring Chad Ford’s expertise back to our community for a more in-depth workshop after the success of his talk we hosted in June,” said Kris Campbell, program director of Mountain Mediation. “In today’s complex world, the ability to transform conflict into opportunities for growth and connection is more vital than ever.”

The workshop will cover identifying conflict styles, overcoming the fear of conflict, and transforming challenging interactions into collaborative ones. It is open to the public and geared toward community leaders, business professionals, educators, mediators, and others interested in conflict resolution.

Space is limited, and early registration is encouraged at MountainMediationCenter.org/events.
