Quarter‑century achievement spurs new leadership for Park City Toastmasters

PARK CITY, Utah — The Park City Toastmasters Club has elected Karen Stone as its new president while celebrating 25 years of helping local residents strengthen public‑speaking and leadership skills.

Founded in 2000, the club has guided hundreds of professionals, creatives and entrepreneurs through weekly meetings that emphasize confidence, clear communication and supportive feedback. Stone, a longtime Park City resident and relatively new Toastmaster, will lead the organization for the 2025‑26 term.

“It’s an honor to serve such an inspiring group of individuals,” Stone said. “This club has been a launchpad for so many personal and professional transformations — including my own. I’m excited to lead us into the next chapter.”

Members marked the quarter‑century milestone last month with a gathering at City Park that featured storytelling, food and a tribute to founding member John Henry, who helped establish the club’s foundation in 2000.

Park City Toastmasters meets every Tuesday from 5:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m., alternating between the Park City Library on lower Main Street and Kiln in Redstone at Kimball Junction. Guests are welcome to attend and observe the low‑pressure, high‑energy sessions. More information is available at pctoastmasters.com.

Toastmasters International, headquartered in Englewood, Colorado, counts more than 280,000 members in 14,700 clubs across 144 countries.
