Park City Soccer Club’s Extreme Cup a huge success with locals and teams alike

PARK CITY, Utah — Of the 31 teams that played in this year’s, the 22nd annual Extreme Cup Youth Soccer Tournament, from the Park City Soccer Club (PCSC), four won their age and gender to be named Champions.
453 teams were accepted into 64 brackets of the players which were comprised of boys and girls ages 8 – 18.

“Congratulations to all the PCSC teams that participated in the 2025 Extreme Cup,” PCSCwrote on social media. “You made us proud.”
The four PCSC Champion teams:
- Boys, birth year 2014, White category, beat Elite FC 3 – 1 (Coach Joel)
- Boys, birth year 2015 Red category, beat Masia FC 5 – 1 (Coach Tim)
- Girls, birth year 2015, Red category, beat Rampage NB 2 – 1 (Coach DJ)
- Girls, birth year 2017, Red category, beat Peak SC 3 – 1 (Coach Ryan)
Three teams from PCSC were Finalist, finishing in second place for their age and gender:
- Boys, birth year 2012, Red category, placed 2nd to Rampage 12 0-3
- Boys, birth year 2013, Red category, placed 2nd to Utah Rush 13 2 – 8
- Boys, birth year 2014, Red category, placed 2nd to Celtic FC Ortiz 0 – 4

Any proceeds from the tournament go towards the Foundation of PCSC’s Scholarship Program
- Over $150,000 awarded in need-based scholarships annually
- More than $1,175,000 awarded since the inception of the Extreme Cup
In total, this year’s Extreme Cup scheduled 813 games, at 41 fields in 13 venues in Park City, Heber, and the Kamas Valley (Oakley).
Approximately 300 Game Officials (Referees) were on hand, to oversee 8,000 players, coaches, and team managers.
Families travel from seven states including AZ, CA, CO, ID, MT, NV, and WY which added up to well over 23,000 spectators.

- 11% (51 teams) Wasatch Back
- 68% (306 teams ) Wasatch Front (Ogden to Provo)
