PARK CITY, Utah — White Pine Touring is hosting a full slate of outdoor clinics and group activities this summer, welcoming both beginners and experienced mountain sports enthusiasts. From mountain biking and rock climbing to trail running, the programming focuses on building skills, confidence and community.
Mountain biking clinics support women riders at all levels
Our clinics are the perfect way to progress and develop your skills in a fun, supportive environment. We offer women-only clinics, and also mixed options that are open to everyone.
The Intro to Mountain Biking Women’s Clinic, held over two sessions on July 23 and July 30, from 6 to 8 p.m., is ideal for those new to riding singletrack. Participants will learn foundational skills to ride safely and comfortably on dirt trails.
For more experienced riders, the Intro to Air – Advanced Women’s Clinic on Aug. 2 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. provides instruction on catching air and navigating features with control and style.
These clinics aim to help riders develop their skills in a fun, supportive environment. Group sizes are intentionally kept small to ensure each rider receives individual attention.

Climbing clinics focus on skill development in the Uintas
White Pine Touring’s summer climbing clinics offer guided instruction in the Uinta Mountains, with transportation included from the shop.
The Let’s Go Climbing Clinic introduces newcomers to outdoor climbing. Dates are July 27 and Aug. 24, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., the latter as part of the Salt Lake Climbers Alliance Climbing Festival.
The Anchor Cleaning & Rappelling Clinic teaches rope systems, knots and rappelling techniques. While no prior experience with anchor cleaning is required, participants should have some climbing experience. Sessions are scheduled for Aug. 3, Aug. 23 (SLCA Climbing Festival) and Aug. 31, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Guides manage all safety and logistics so participants can focus on learning and building confidence.
Trail running club meets weekly, free to join
White Pine Touring has also launched a free Thursday Night Trail Running Club, meeting weekly at 6:30 p.m. at the shop. Each session includes two route options: a shorter loop (3–4 miles) and a longer one (6–7 miles), with terrain varying based on trail conditions.
Whether you’re just getting started, looking for an easy shakeout, or in the mood for a more challenging effort, you’ll have a route that works for you. The terrain and trails will vary each week depending on conditions, but expect Park City’s signature singletrack, mellow climbs, and big views.
