PARK CITY, Utah — A woman was hospitalized Thursday morning following a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 80 near Jeremy Ranch. The incident temporarily shut down westbound lanes and drew emergency crews to the scene.
According to the Utah Highway Patrol, the crash occurred just after 9:30 a.m. near milepost 141. The woman was driving westbound in a Tesla when she veered left and struck a crash cushion in the median. The impact pushed the barrier into the eastbound lanes, where the Tesla collided with an oncoming vehicle.
The eastbound driver was uninjured, and their vehicle sustained no damage, authorities said.

The woman, who had two children in the car, was transported to a hospital with injuries described as moderate to serious. The children were not hurt.
Westbound traffic on I-80 was closed for about an hour while crews cleared the scene and investigated the crash. The cause remains under investigation.
